Donald Trump says, 'I hate Taylor Swift'

On Sunday, like a spoiled child, Donald Trump on his Truth Social, expressed his animosity toward Taylor Swift, five days after the global singer endorsed his opponent, Kamala Harris.

The 2024 GOP nominee wrote, "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!"

In response, former US Representative Liz Cheney (R-WY) stated, "Says Trump is the smallest man who ever lived."

Matthew Sheffield, a former right-wing operative, responded, "Trump's cognitive functioning is so impaired that he is only now becoming agitated over Taylor Swift's endorsement of Kamala Harris."

Kyle Cheney of Politico responded with a sardonic tone, stating, "The youth strategy."

Ana Navarro-Cárdenas, the co-host of The View, stated, "Donald Trump has forfeited the sanity that was left in him." "He was broken by Taylor Swift."

Craig Silverman, a columnist for the Colorado Sun, responded, "There is no way that any individual (Trump) should have the authority to activate our nuclear weapons by selecting "publish" on his "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!" post."

Political analyst Bakari Swift expressed his concern: "This is perilous." Trump is aware that his words are significant, but he is unconcerned. He is aware that she will face threats and other challenges.

Swift announced her support for Harris on Tuesday via Instagram, stating, "I am voting for @kamalaharris because she is a warrior who advocates for the rights and causes that I believe require a champion." I am of the opinion that she is a gifted and steady leader, and I am of the opinion that we can achieve a great deal more in this nation if we are guided by calm rather than pandemonium.

Swift, however, is unlikely to be affected.

Swift is cautioned by her publicist that Trump may pursue her in her 2020 documentary, "Miss Americana," when she initially discusses expressing her political beliefs.

Swift's immediate response was, "F—k that." I have no interest in the matter.

Swift is not the sole individual who is currently criticizing Trump. "Haters gonna hate," as Swift sings in "Shake It Off."

Elon Musk, a Trump supporter, tweeted on Tuesday, "Fine Taylor... you win...," after Swift endorsed Harris in an Instagram post she signed "Childless Cat Lady," a reference to Trump running mate JD Vance's denigrating comments about women without children. I will provide you with a child and ensure the safety of your pets using my life.

Megyn Kelly, a conservative commentator, also expressed her dissatisfaction with the vocalist subsequent to the endorsement. On her podcast, she declared, "F you, Taylor Swift."

It should come as no surprise and illustrates the mentality of the new GOP, which is characterized by fury and offensive, repulsive statements that would never be heard from the left.

Swift is not unfamiliar with this type of animosity. In 2017, Swift was subjected to an overwhelming amount of online criticism prior to disclosing her political beliefs. As a result, Instagram permitted her to beta test a feature that would automatically delete comments on her posts that contained specific words and phrases. Swift capitalized on Instagram's decision to permit users to shut down their comments shortly thereafter.
